"Thanks for an awesome experience, and especially for convincing me to attend. I loved every minute of it and the week was over far too quickly. Please update me with the details and costs of next year’s trip as I have a few friends who may be keen."

"Hi Bootie from Govan Mani

Belated email – but thanks very much for donating the Nikon – cap, beanie and outdoor 5 in 1 gear – for Emanuel & Peter’s photo September workshop at The Garden Lodge at Chobe. The prize, especially the multipurpose gear have been put to good use in the Brisbane storm season. Really enjoyed the workshop .. Nikon rules! Now feel the need to go back to Antarctica now that I’m familiar with my camera (D200 .. hey, it only took 4 years to figure it out!)

Emanuel – Ron’s just distributed the schedule for Kenya - awesome. Thanks so much for your advice on the trip. Still sorting the photos out"

"Hi Emanuel, Peter,

Just a quick note to express my thanks for a terrific time in Botswana. The Chobe River is endlessly fascinating and you opened it up for me, for all of us.

A special thanks to you Emanuel for letting me use the awesome D700 and 70-200 lens. Without it I would not have had a stills camera on safari in Africa. Imagine that! Please pass on my appreciation to Nikon South Africa for the generosity in enabling this to happen.

Here's a jpeg of the Fish Eagle we saw. I know the cut down size doesn't do it justice, but you can still see the Nikon caught the imminent impact beautifully"

"Dear Bootie ,Govan Mani

I would like to thank you for your support of the fantastic photographic course and safari at the Chobe River in Botswana Sep 20-25. I always liked my photography but the four days with Emanuel and Peter took me to a far different level. I have not only improved my photographic skills significantly but at the same time learnt to observe wildlife and to critically look at the pics I take. The course made the trip a lifetime experience I will never forget. Emanuel and Peter converted a group of average hobby photographers into a bunch of fanatics who for the reminder of the trip kept on discussing exposure compensation, ISO, aperture and action shots, fighting Nikon/Canon disputes and silently adding dollar figures to upgrade their current equipment.

As for me I will upgrade my Nikon to a higher level with one of the soon to be released new Nikon bodies and will also get an underwater housing for my current Nikon plus new lenses to apply my newly acquired skills on scuba diving trips. I also hope to get on another trip with Emanuel and Peter in the next couple of years.

I also want to thank you for the Nikon prize box I won with one of my shots (see attached). The daily competition was an additional driver which supported the learning experience."
